Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.

High Priest – representative, intercessor

[Heb.9:11-12]
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

Ched-or-la-omer, king of Elam. Kad [H3537] – a jar, a vessel. Omer [H6016] – a tenth of an ephah. Chedorlaomer — a vessel with the tithe, a vessel with manna. Elam [H5956] – hidden, concealed.
